NORTH WRESTLING TO TAKE ON LASALLE IN THE DISTRICT SEMI-FINALS

grettings north wrestling fans! on saturday the falcon wrestling team had to travel to monsignor bonner high school to fight their way in to the district 12 semi-finals. we had to wrestle two matches in a row to see who would meet lasalle on wednesday night. here is a listing of the scores..

NORTH - 54 -- WOOD - 15

our day began with a rematch with archbishop wood. the outcome of the match was never in question. we were very aggressive with our control ties and were constantly attacking. we dominated from all 3 positions to come away with an easy victory.

NORTH - 39 -- BONNER - 21

bonner was hosting their first catholic league playoff match in over a decade. the friars came out very aggressive and pumped-up. in the beginning we were not able to match their intensity level. we were even down 11 points in the middle of the match. fortunately for us, we were still sitting on our big guns. the middle of our lineup were waiting and we ended up winning the last 8 matches to cruise into the semi-finals...
